It strikes

Joy is almost like happiness but though it is a bit different. Happiness is more like feeling and joy is more like emotions. It is a great and broad emotion and one word is not enough to describe all those feelings people have when they are cheerful and joy. It is something like a feeling of satisfaction in case you were looking for something special and finally found it out. Say, you were looking for something of vitally importance for you and you have been looking for it during a long time but the search was not successful. And here you are tired and exhausted and hope is going to leave you, and hope is the last to leave. So, here you are exhausted and tired and you know there is no such a place you have not looking for at and still haven’t found that special thing. Your seating right there and thinking about nothing. And you look at something tiny and almost invisible and suddenly you realize that this is it! Suddenly you realize that it is that special thing you were looking for and that feeling comes to you – the feeling of joy. It strikes you with the whole spectrum of its emotions!

A feeling similar to…

Actually it is not really a feeling but emotions. See, feelings last for a long time and emotions it is like right-here-and-right-now feelings. They strike people and leave them almost at once and joy is not actually a feeling but an emotion. Though, it is easier to deal with its nature of call it a feeling. So, there was an article about emotion of joy and people told there that joy is a feeling close to one a person feels a second before he or she dies. It is an interesting theory and just like all other interesting and striking theories it is one that is hard to be checked. Those who already had this feeling are dead and they can’t say what it was like, but those who are still alive know nothing about it. So, let’s just thrust this theory and take it as the very truth. And if it is so, than it means that a dying person never suffers but this person is happy about the fact that he or she is living this world. People are glad to die and in case they really are it means that there is nothing to be afraid of when talking about death.

Where do you find Joy

Joyis a simple thing that means so much and can be found anywhere.  Joy can be a small thing or a big thing.  You could win the lottery and experience joy like you never have before in your life.  You could see the first spring bloom and get a little boost of joy that helps you get through the day.  Joy can be a quick and fleeting thing that you experience in a brief moment.  Joy can be a lingering thing that stays with you for hours or days and if you’re really lucky months and years.Joy is such a limitless thing and the only question is where you find joy.Joycan be found anywhere at anytime.  Joy can be found in dark sad places.  You might think that it is the worst day of your life and see the cutest kitten you ever saw in your life do the cutest thing ever and even if just for a flash, derive some joy from it.  You can be in the car driving down the street.  You can be at work, home or school.  You can find joy while you are asleep in the midst of dreams.  You can find joy in the middle of a heating argument.   Joy is such an interesting emotion because you never know where or when it will appear.  You can wait for joy to come to you or you can look for joy.   You usually don’t have to look far and you will always be surprised at all the different places that you find it.

Learning To Live

The joy of learning to live is a life long experience. There is never a time when we should stop learning the joys that life has to offer us. It was well said, through various quotes, that when you stop learning you stop living. There is joy waiting behind every corner of life, and there is certainly no reason to stop the process of learning to embrace it. Self help groups talk regularly of the various joy that is right in front of us. Whether the self help group is accurate in its teachings or not, the miracle of the “joy search” is that there are men and women there that range in age from the late teens to the late seventies. People from all age brackets and all walks of life want to find more joy in their life.

So if everyone is out to learn how to find more joy in their life, wouldn’t it make sense that there is more joy to be found? Can we all find excessive amounts of joy in our life or are all these people in self help groups just chasing a pipe dream? Perhaps there is a mix of realities. Joy is a part of life when we choose to seek it out. The miserable will want to seek out the misery and the joyful will want to seek out the joy. In many cases, those who only seek misery will want to switch their search. As more people seek out joy in this life, the more simplistic the search for joy becomes. After all, sometimes the greatest joys in the world are simple yet meaningful.
